Description

The book titled "Expository Notes on the Biblical New Testament Perspective on the Apostolic and Prophetic Ministry" is a small book, but a timely paradigmatic work on the nature and character of the apostolic and prophetic ministry in the first century of the Christian Church. Expositional in nature, it examines all the genres of the New Testament for its analysis of the apostolic and prophetic ministry and considerations on the NT prophecy and the prophetic ministry.

It cites over 360 passages (with regard for the context of the passages) of the New Testament, and includes over 40 Scriptural theses or propositional comments on the subject matter. The author holds to a high view of the infallible authority of the Bible.

Furthermore, its orientation is Christological, for it views Christ as the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, and as the center of all prophetic revelations in the Bible generally, and in the NT specifically. The strength of the work lies in its biblical/theological framework, rather than apologetic (that is, its interaction with the various schools of thought on the apostolic/prophetic ministry).
The book is valuable as a reference source for all Christians and Bible scholars who wish to learn further on the apostolic and prophetic ministry.
